FROM WORKING PROTOTYPE TO REPEATABLE PRODUCT

Industrialise electronic products without losing the value already created

Transform promising prototypes and inherited designs into reliable, testable and manufacturable products through focused audits, risk retirement, redesign, validation and production preparation.

ABTC helps clients distinguish what should be preserved, what must change and what evidence is still missing. The goal is a controlled route to production that protects investment and prevents late surprises from becoming recurring cost.

  • Preserve useful engineering
  • Expose production risks early
  • Build repeatability into the product

CLIENT OUTCOMES

Industrialisation reduces uncertainty where it becomes expensive

A prototype proves a possibility. A product must operate across units, environments, component variation, updates, manufacturing processes and real users.

A truthful maturity assessment

Identify validated behaviour, hidden assumptions, incomplete evidence and the shortest credible path to the next stage.

Design decisions ready for supply and assembly

Review components, tolerances, test access, stack-up, assembly, programming, calibration, lifecycle and alternative sourcing.

Validation focused on real failure modes

Turn requirements and observed risks into practical electrical, firmware, RF, environmental and production checks.

A smoother manufacturing transfer

Provide controlled files, test strategy, versioning, issue response and engineering support for prototypes, pilots and initial production.

WHEN WE ADD THE MOST VALUE

When a prototype needs to become a dependable business asset

We support products at the point where demonstration speed must give way to repeatability, traceability, maintainability and controlled cost.

  • A laboratory prototype works but has no production documentation or validation plan.
  • A startup has inherited a design and needs an independent technical assessment.
  • Field failures, resets, RF issues or component changes expose architectural weaknesses.
  • Certification, manufacturing or test requirements were not considered in the first design.
  • A product needs cost reduction, lifecycle improvement or a new production partner.

A CONTROLLED ENGINEERING PATH

Protect existing value, then close the real gaps

  1. Audit the evidence

Review sources, prototypes, BOM, layouts, firmware, measurements, issues, requirements and manufacturing information.

  2. Prioritise by consequence

Rank risks by impact on reliability, certification, supply, production yield, maintainability and commercial schedule.

  3. Redesign and verify

Implement focused hardware and firmware changes, build controlled prototypes and collect evidence against acceptance criteria.

  4. Transfer to production

Release manufacturing data, programming and test flows, version records and support for pilot and initial production findings.

TANGIBLE PROGRESS

The information needed to manufacture the same product repeatedly

Industrialisation deliverables make product intent explicit for engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, test and future maintenance.

  • Technical audit, maturity assessment and prioritised risk register
  • Updated schematics, PCB, BOM and approved manufacturing data
  • Production firmware, release process and programming information
  • DFM, DFT, component lifecycle and alternative-source review
  • Verification, certification-preparation and production-test plan
  • Pilot-build support, issue resolution and controlled handover

DECISION SUPPORT

Before industrialising an electronic prototype

Does industrialisation always require a complete redesign?

No. The audit identifies what is already sound and what creates unacceptable risk. Focused changes often preserve substantial existing work while improving repeatability, testability and supportability.

Can ABTC review a product designed by another company?

Yes. We can perform an independent review of hardware, PCB, firmware, BOM, documentation, validation and production readiness, then support the client or original supplier in resolving priorities.

Do you manufacture the product?

ABTC is an engineering company. We can manage or support production with selected manufacturers, prepare the technical package and resolve engineering issues while the commercial manufacturing arrangement remains clear.

Can you support CE and radio certification preparation?

Yes. We design and review for applicable requirements, prepare pre-compliance evidence, coordinate technical documentation and support accredited laboratory testing. Formal certification remains with the appropriate authorised bodies.

Make the next build more predictable than the last

Send the current design, prototype status and the production concern that matters most. We will begin by protecting useful work and exposing the risks that deserve attention first.
