UWB EVALUATION CARRIER
BlueModule BM5270 Arduino Shield
An Arduino-format development carrier created to expose the BM5270-UWB platform for faster multiradio and indoor-positioning experiments.

ENGINEERING OUTCOME
A familiar physical format for evaluating a specialised radio platform
The Arduino Shield carrier makes BM5270-UWB interfaces available in a widely understood development format. It was designed to shorten bench setup for ranging, firmware and host-integration work while preserving access to the module’s Bluetooth LE, Wi‑Fi and UWB capabilities.
As an evaluation tool, its purpose is not to dictate the final product shape. It helps engineering teams validate behaviour and architecture before moving to a dedicated tag, anchor, gateway or application-specific PCB.
Fast evaluation
A practical carrier for bringing up BM5270-UWB firmware and radio experiments.
Accessible interfaces
Module signals arranged for straightforward host and laboratory integration.
Prototype to custom PCB
Useful for early evidence before the final product hardware is committed.
This page documents a product created through a funded research and development programme. It remains part of ABTC’s technical portfolio and records the engineering capability established through that work.
